My opinion about using blogs
I think this is an interesting way to learn English. We are in a technological world and we have to take advantage of that because the students nowadays are living in this technological world and they know everything about computers and also they know very well how to use them, so we have to know how to use blogs, facebook, and all the new programmes and teach through them.
And also this is very useful to learn English, especially if the websites are in English language.
These lab sessions were great!! I had a lot of fun and I learned how to use blogs!! Miss you have great ideas for your students and this was a great one. This is better than to be in the classroom!! The computers were too slow but I couldn't change that, and it wasn't your fault, so everything was good. You are an excellent teacher. Congratulations!!!

Parts of Speech (Summary)
"Parts of speech" are the basic types of words that English has. Most grammar books say that there are eight parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, conjunctions, prepositions and interjections. We will add one more type: articles.
1- Noun: A noun is a naming word. It names a person, place, thing, idea, living creature, quality, or action. Examples: Tony, London, table, love, elephant, etc.
2- Verb: A verb is a word which describes an action (doing something) or a state (being something). Examples: laugh, walk, speak, sleep, rest, etc.
3- Adjective: An adjective is a word that describes a noun. It tells you something about the noun. Examples: red, small, thin, fat, big, green, etc.
4- Adverb: An adverb is a word which usually describes a verb. It tells you how something is done. It may also tell you when or where something happened. Examples: quickly, slowly, frequently, etc.
5- Pronoun: A pronoun is used instead of a noun, to avoid repeating the noun. Examples: I, you, he, she, it, we, they
6- Conjunction: A conjunction joins two words, phrases or sentences together. Examples: but, so, and, because, or
7- Preposition: A preposition usually comes before a noun, pronoun or noun phrase. It joins the noun to some other part of the sentence. Examples: on, in, by, with, under, through, at
8- Interjection: An interjection is an unusual kind of word, because it often stands alone. Interjections are words which express emotion or surprise, and they are usually followed by exclamation marks. Examples: Ouch!, Hello!, Hurray!, Oh no!, Ha!
9- Article: An article is used to introduce a noun. Examples: the, a, an

Why grammar is important for an EFL teacher?
I think grammar is important because it is the base of the English language. If a teacher of English doesn't know anything about it he doesn't know anything about English. Grammar is used when we are talking, teaching, or even when we are thinking. As a person who talks spanish I need to know spanish grammar, and as a future English teacher also I need to know English grammar.
So know about it is essential!!!!!

TIC-TAC-TOE
When I was in high school I took a complementary called instrumental English, and in a class, the teacher told us we had to create a book with a story for kids, and my group chose "Red Ridding Hood". We drawed and painted the pictures and translate the story from spanish to english. I learned new vocabulary with that experience. So, I think tic-tac-toe game is a good way to learn and to teach, in this case, English. As a student I learned a lot with that way of teaching, and as a teacher I can use different ways to teach, with games like tic-tac-toe, or with songs if they translate it from english to spanish. If I make a play for my students and they act it, they can learn new vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. I think this is another way to teach English.
As teachers we have to be creative because if we talk and talk and do the same every class, the students may not learn and they get bored.
So games are ok to teach grammar!!!!

Structure of Conditionals
a) Zero Conditional:
If+ condition(simple present)+ result(simple present)
Example:
If you don't do your homework, you can't go out with your friends
And also result+if+condition: You can't go out with your friends if you don't do your homework
b) First Conditional:
If+ condition(present simple)+ result(will+base verb)
Example:
If I go to bed late, I'll be late tomorow
And also result+if+condition: I'll be late tomorrow if I go to bed late
c) Second Conditional:
If+condition(past simple)+ result(would+base verb)
Example:
If I went to Brazil, I would learn how to dance samba
And also result+if+condition: I would learn how to dance samba if I went to Brazil.
d) Third Conditional:
If+condition(past perfect)+result(would have+past participle)
Example:
If you had studied for your test, you would have gotten a good grade in it.
And also result+if+condition: You would have gotten a good grade in the test if you had studied for it
If+ condition(simple present)+ result(simple present)

Conditional Exercises
It was difficult for me the contents about conditionals, but when I studied them carefully they became easier and I could answer the quiz about conditionals.
I think the zero conditional is easier than the others because the tense used in its structure is the simple present in the condition and in the results. The others are more complex because they use more than one tense, for example first conditional use present simple in the condition and for the result will + base verb. Second conditional use simple past in the condition and for the result would+base verb. And third conditional use past perfect in the condition and for the result would have+past participle.
And some exercises were easier than others, for example mix and match. Almost all the exercises in this category were easy to answer, especially the exercise 1, but exercise 5 were a little bit complicated.
Another example, complete the sentences. They were not so difficult, but not so easy. And in the others exercises I didn't pay attention and I failed because of that. So, I have to study a lot and I have to pay attention.
Miss: Congratulations!!! You chose a good way to teach English to us. It's very interesting!!!

About first session
Today I learned about Zero Conditional. This is one of the English conditionals. Zero conditiinal has a clause with "if" and the main clause. For example: If you heat water to 100 degrees, (if clause) it boils. (main clause).
If "if" comes first, we have to put a comma the main clause but if main clause comes first we don't need to put a comma.
In the exercises I got 2 bad answers, the rest was right.
I need to study more the structures of English conditionals and practise the exercises.
